From the sensor to the control room, in a single system.
MultiSphera collects the events of CIAS devices, shows them on synoptic and map, stores them and passes them to the systems you already use. It runs on the site network, not in the cloud.
The main modules
Synoptic, remotely too
Real-time status of terminal servers and sensors, in the control room or remotely, from any authorised workstation on the company network or over VPN.
LiveMap
Sensors on the site map: the alarm appears at the exact spot where it was triggered, with automatic zoom on the event.
Tuner
Calibration of CIAS sensors from the browser, also from smartphones and tablets, right in the field.
Event log, 24 months online
A single log of events and acknowledgements: 24 months available at once, then a verified local archive you can restore.
And also
Event handling
Acknowledgement with configurable reasons; schedulable operating states for sensors.
Import from IB-System IP
The existing configuration (.IBConf) becomes channels and sensors ready for review.
Sphera-Twin Available
High availability with two servers, for business continuity.
CyberShield, advanced security
The Add-On for enhanced cyber protection in high-security environments.
The basic protections are always included; CyberShield adds:
- Mandatory two-factor authentication, password expiry and history
- Tamper-evident operations log and export to SIEM
- Company CA certificates, time windows, single session

Every CIAS device
MultiSphera supervises every CIAS device, connected to the network through CIAS terminal servers. On the synoptic each terminal server and each sensor shows its own status in real time.
- In the control room or remotely, through the company network or a VPN
- From any up-to-date browser: no app to install
- With the Tuner, sensors are calibrated from the browser, also from smartphones and tablets
Built-in plugins
MultiSphera passes events and states to the systems you already use: VMS, PSIM and supervisory systems.
Integrated platforms
Events and alarms from CIAS devices, straight into VMS, PSIM and access control platforms.
- Genetec
- Avigilon Unity
- Hikvision HikCentral
- Geutebrück
- Dahua
- Prysm
- Inner Range
- Hanwha Vision
- Vivotek
- Digifort
- XtraVision
- L3Harris
- WebAPI
MultiSphera provides protocols, SDKs and Web APIs with HTTPS interfaces, designed to support current and future integrations with VMS and PSIM platforms and multifunction control panels.
Coming next
The features and modules we are working on.
Encryption of the channel to the devices
With the new generation of CIAS terminal servers: an encrypted link to the MultiSphera server, with a dedicated key for each terminal server.
Predictive maintenance
Tools to plan maintenance work on the devices from the data MultiSphera already collects.
SYNAPSES VR
CIAS video analytics: detection areas drawn on the camera image and linked to the perimeter sensors.
Performeter
A new MultiSphera module under development: details will be available at release.
SIOUX-PRO3
The new generation of the CIAS fence-mounted intrusion detection system, with the fence divided into zones.
How it is built
Everything surveillance needs is on the site network. The CIAS portal is used for licences and updates and also works without a connection, with files.
CIAS devices
CIAS sensors and barriers, connected to the terminal servers.
CIAS terminal servers
They bring the devices onto the IP network. The encrypted channel, with the new generation, is coming.
MultiSphera server
On the site network: Sphera-Core, web interface, event database.
Workstations and third-party systems
Operators in the browser over HTTPS; VMS, PSIM and supervisory systems through the plugins.
CIAS portal
Licences, signed updates and security advisories: online, or with files for sites without Internet.
Components
Sphera-Core
The engine: it manages the terminal servers, receives events, keeps the sensor status, writes the event database, checks licence and add-ons.
Web interface
Synoptic, LiveMap, Tuner, event log, users and settings, with a single sign-in and the «How do I…» interactive guide.
Process supervisor
It starts the modules, watches them and restarts them if they stop.
CIAS terminal servers
They bring the lines of CIAS devices onto the IP network. In the new generation each terminal server has a unique identity generated at the factory; the encrypted channel with a dedicated key comes with the new firmware.
CIAS portal
The channel’s cloud service: licence issue and activation, subscriptions, downloads, signed updates and advisories, tickets.
Database and archive
24 months of events online, then a monthly local archive with SHA-256 fingerprints, restorable from the Event log page.
The evolution of IB-System IP
Sphera-Core collects and centralises the alarm states of CIAS devices, like IB-System IP, and imports the existing configuration.
| IB-System IP | Sphera-Core | |
|---|---|---|
| Licences | USB dongle | digital, activated online or with a file, bound to the installation |
| Updates | on request | signed packages; security advisories and patches for everyone, other versions with Sphera+ |
| Architecture | monolithic | modular: engine, web modules, process supervisor |
| Configuration | .IBConf file | imported from IB-System IP |
Installation, activation, updates
Install
Guided setup for Windows and Linux, also without a graphical interface.
Activate
Online, or with a file for isolated sites: .lreq request, signed .licpkg package, bound to the installation.
Update
Signed packages. Security advisories and patches for every installation.
