A digital licence, activated in a few steps.

The MultiSphera licence is digital and bound to the installation: it is activated online, or with a file on sites without Internet, and moves with you when you change server. Sphera+ adds maintenance and support, CyberShield advanced security.

Licence and activation

No dongles: the licence arrives through the CIAS network and the end user approves and activates it.

Online activation

The server contacts the CIAS portal and receives the signed licence package, bound to the installation.

Offline activation, with a file

For isolated sites: the request file goes to the portal from a connected PC and a signed licence package comes back.

Transfer

Changing server? The licence is released from the original installation, with a file if needed, and activated on the new one.

Offline activation, in three steps

For sites isolated from the Internet: all you need is a connected PC, used as a bridge.

  1. 1Generatethe .lreq request from the site’s MultiSphera
  2. 2Uploadthe .lreq file to the portal from the bridge PC
  3. 3Importthe signed .licpkg package and activate

The files are signed: the licence stays bound to that installation.

Subscription

Sphera+

The MultiSphera maintenance and support subscription: product updates and support, with tickets opened directly from the product.

  • Security advisories and updates remain available to everyone, even without a subscription.
  • Without Sphera+ nothing is switched off: MultiSphera keeps running.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Internet to activate the licence?
No. For isolated sites you generate a request file, take it to the portal with a connected PC and import the signed licence package.
Can I move the licence to another server?
Yes. The licence is released from the original installation, with a file if the site has no Internet, and activated on the new one.
Does CyberShield expire?
No. CyberShield is bought once: the features of the installed version stay active with no expiry. CyberShield evolutions are downloaded with Sphera+; security updates are for everyone.
And if I do not renew Sphera+?
Nothing is switched off. You keep receiving security advisories and updates; the other updates remain visible but cannot be downloaded.
